Today our team had the opportunity to see first hand some of the devastation brought about by hurricane Katrina. Computers on sidewalks and couches laying in the middle of what looked like warzone ravaged areas brought a deep sense of reflection to our leaders and students. We all wait with eager anticipation for tomorrows work assignments.

Dillon (Weasley) Thomakos: Look around you and soak up this scene. God chose you all to be his instrument today by virtue of helping these folks through their own personal devastation. But, I am sure your experience has a greater long-term purpose for your own life as well. You all are doing a great thing in the name of faith and love. I miss you very much and remember to brush your tooth. love, dad.
